I had dreamt of seeing the incredible blue of the Bosporus for a long time. It did not let me down. This photo brings back memories of sea gull calls against calls to pray, bobbing fishing lines off the Galata Bridge and the smells of sea food and spice. By the way, spot the helicopter! There were gulls everywhere on the water front. Below are some more images of the birds and the Bosporus.
