I was quite surprised to see my friends brother climb this tree in no time flat after offering me a drink of fresh coconut milk. He and his family live on a small tributary of the Song Cai Lon near Rach Gia in the Western Mekong Delta. This tributary is the equivalent of a road in this part of the world and all on it travel by long boat. The addition pictures are taken in and around my friends home. He almost dared me to climb the tree….I did not!
